Nursery youngsters help decorate church for Harvest

The youngsters of the Huggetts Day Nursery and Pre-School in Blindley Heath have been providing the adjoining St John the Evangelist Church with some lovely decorations for its Harvest celebration. The children produced some stunning art works that depicted the very essence of the autumnal harvest.

Gemma Draper, Huggetts manager said: "It teaches the children the importance of community spirit and how much their efforts contribute to a beautiful event that’s enjoyed by all."

Money Raised

We hope you have enjoyed all the lovely things that have been taking place over the last few months before Christmas.

The ‘Christmas Fair’ and the ‘Children in Need Cake Sale’ were a great success.  We raised £111 for ‘Children in Need’ and the ‘Christmas Fair’ raised £100 for Charity.

On Saturday 23rd December Gemma and Tasha took presents to children who were in hospital over the Xmas period. The remaining money will be donated to St. Thomas’s and Guys Hospital.

Mothers Day

On Friday 9th March the children enjoyed a lovely Mothers Day tea party with their mummies. The children were able to decorate biscuits, make flowers and then they enjoyed a yummy tea.  It was lovely to see so many happy faces enjoying themselves (both children and mums)!

Today we have enjoyed a fantastic Easter bonnet parade and tea party. Some amazing creations and lots of happy faces. Thank you to everyone who took part and joined in.
