Godstone Farm

All of the children and parents are invited to join our trip to Godstone Farm on Thursday 2nd September.

This trip is free of charge and has been made available as the scarecrows made by the pre-school children were declared first prize winners of the schools and pre-schools competition at the Blindley Heath Show held in May this year.

BUILDING WORKS

The building works are shorly due for completion. We have installed new doors to our pre-school classroom and our baby and toddler care room to allow for freeflow access to the outdoor environment. An all weather canopy shades the sun and protects from the rain. 

We plan to further enhance the exploratory area and refurb the large shed to use as a playhouse. 

Fundraising for the outdoor area

Has been taking place from April this year and we have set ourselves a year of fundraising for the additional funds we need to continue with our plans for the outdoor area.

Sainsburys Active Kids and Tesco Schools and Clubs Vouchers we have been collecting have enabled us to order: Wooden sand pit, Balance Beams, Insturction Dice, Foam Skittles and Ball, Soft Balls, Easy Catch Balls, Herb Tray and Stand and a Set of Shaped Weaving Frames.

SURESTARTERS

Held on a Thursday morning 10am to 12noon at the Foreman's Institute just a short walk from the nursery on the Eastbourne Road Allyson along with staff from the Surestart Centre in Lingfield is hosting a stay and play morning. It is free and open to mums and dads and their under 5s.
