Activities

The Pre-School curriculum is presented using themes in order to underpin learning. Each child shall work within the Early Years Foundation Stage (DfES 2007/2008) according to their age and stage of development

Planning for activities and experiences in all areas of the Nursery and Pre-School includes long, medium and short term planning which identifies key areas of learning both for groups and individual children. Evaluation of children’s experiences and progress includes transferring information into individual child profiles, which are shared with parents/carers.

Outside of the setting children enjoy taking part in community life with regular walks within the local area and a yearly Summer Fun Day and Christmas Party.
